- In the case of YouTube Shorts monetization creators needs 3 million Shorts views in the last 90 days to enable monetization on the channel.
Previously the requirement was:
- 1000 subscribers
- 4000 hours of watch time within a year
- In the case of YouTube Shorts monetization creators needs 10 million Shorts views in the last 90 days
This is great news for creators who want to do something on the YouTube platform with this new monetization policy creators can now start earning money from channels with fewer subscribers and watch time. However, it does not guarantee that every channel with 500 subscribers and 3000 watch time will get approved in YPP. - Follow YouTube Terms and Conditions: There are many terms and conditions of YouTube. Before applying to YPP make sure your videos meet all the terms and conditions. It is very necessary to understand the terms and conditions before because it saves your time, effort.
- Do not apply for YPP if the video has a Copyright claim: Never apply for YPP if your video has a copyright claim because such a channel will not be eligible for YPP. Before applying learn all the terms and conditions first.
- Upload appropriate videos: Always upload appropriate videos on a channel that gives valuable content to the viewers. For the views do not upload spam videos. YouTube accepts YPP only for that channel whose videos are appropriate to watch. Be serious and upload appropriate videos if you want to earn money from YouTube.
- Use proper titles on videos: Titles are one of the main parts of the videos. Always use the proper title if you are making videos of cooking then use the title related to cooking not dancing if you do these then your channel will not be eligible for YPP.
